Lanciano International Guitar Festival July 17-20 2024

I am the recipient of the Fellowship Award for the Lanciano guitar Festival July 2024. The festival includes four concerts in select venues in the Abbruzzo region in Italy. The festival includes workshops and masterclasses by esteemed guitarists Nicola-Pignatiello and Carlo Marchione.

Music by Jaime Zenamon Concert at The Americas Society Thursday June 27th 7:30 pm

I will perform music by esteemed Brazilian composer Jaime Zenamon for the New York Guitar Seminar at The Mannes College of Music. The festival includes this concert at the Americas Society on Park Avenue on Thursday June 27th at 7:30 pm. The concert will feature music by Zenamon in solo, duo and trio settings. I will premier a new work by Jaime entitled “Un Salisita para el Amor de Dios,” a play on words derived from the legendary composer Augustin Barrios’ piece titled “Un Lismosa para el Amor de Dios.” The concert will feature performances by Matt Kaplan, Pierre Ferreyra-Mansilla, and Mark Hamburg.

Somm Salon Event: Wine Tasting with Classical Guitar on Friday April 21th 2023 at 7pm

I will perform in an event that seamlessly blends the worlds of music and wine. Dana Affleck and her esteemed colleagues at Some Salon create innovative wine tasting events. The next one will be on Friday April 21,st 2023 at 7pm at the Yard in the Lower East Side on Delancy street in New York City. This event will feature a trio of wine tastings carefully selected and explained by Dana. Her expertise in the realm of wines ensures that participants will not only savor the flavors but also gain a deeper understanding of the intricate art of winemaking. I will select three pieces of music, each meticulously paired with a wine. During the event, I'll take you through my thought process behind these pairings. I hope to see you there!
